Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) has named Jay Patel, M.D., the new chief strategy officer. He replaces James Caillouette, M.D., a founder of HOI who held the position for more than 10 years. Dr. Caillouette assumed the board Chair position on January 1, 2021.

IRVINE, CALIF., (February 4, 2021) – Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) has named Jay Patel, M.D., the new chief strategy officer. He replaces James Caillouette, M.D., a founder of HOI who held the position for more than 10 years. Dr. Caillouette assumed the board Chair position on January 1, 2021. The institute performs the most hip and knee replacement surgeries in California.
